CEO David Windley Inspires HR Professionals

A veteran of the recruiting and HR industries, David Windley is not just the CEO of IQTalent Partners, he also serves on two corporate boards and is the Chair of the SHRM Board of Directors (Society for Human Resource Management). Before he began developing a strategic vision for IQTP, Windley served as CHRO at Yahoo and worked in HR leadership for Intuit, Microsoft, Fusion.io and more. He is passionate about the workplace, corporate culture, and employee engagement.

As Board Chair, Windley opened this year’s national SHRM conference in Las Vegas with an inspiring address that focused on creating a better workplace. “When you create an inclusive and engaging workplace, employees flourish, and businesses succeed,” said Windley. “We are building a world of work, that works for all, and maximizes human potential.” This year’s conference was the largest gathering of HR professionals in the world, with over 20,000 attendees committed to creating a better workplace for a better world.

During his address, Windley sited the 2019 Edelman Trust Barometer to prove the importance of the employee-employer relationship. The survey showed that people trust their employer more than they trust the government or the media. “More and more, people see their employer as the key relationship in their lives,” he continued, “This is a huge responsibility.”

Windley will continue to share his enthusiasm for the people aspect of business with several more speaking engagements this fall, including the Global Workforce Symposium in Boston and the SHRM India Annual Conference in New Delhi.
